I invented two characters yesterday while writing my 1,000 words. One was another Lord, Lord Cromley. Cromley came from the lovely random name generator at Kleimo. I found some more name and character resources thanks to Kat Feete.

The second character is the anonymous leader of the group against seeds. I began thinking today about who this guy is (yes, he's a man). How did he become the leader and what interest does he have in the town and seeds? Quickly I decided that to be so motivated he needed to have personal interest in seeds and the effect on others. So now he has a tragic but triumphant story where he and his family have been addicted to seeds and while his family have died and fallen into strife Lord Cromley fought the addiction.

So, Gileon Cutting has made his first appearance and interestingly none of the material above was used directly. I've got my 1,000 words for the evening and I'm closing in on the 80,000 word mark (Monday at my current pace but I like the sound of Sunday better). It seems like only a little while ago I was stuck in the 60's. :)
