National Novel Editing Month starts today! Well, at least here in New Zealand it does and in a few other countries. Most of our cool content will be up tomorrow but until then...
50 hours of editing. 31 days. GO!
Opening the articles for 2009 we have Gabrielle Harbowy, Editor in Charge at Dragon Moon Press and the San Francisco chapter coordinator for the Editorial Freelance Association, writing about Good Parts and Other Parts.
The first 2009 episode of I Should Be Editing will include me in the feature Spotlight on the Forums where I'll be talking about having such editors as Gabrielle Harbowy and Dave King frequenting the forums. Dave King is co-author of Self-Editing for Fiction Writers and will be contributing an article on Show vs. Tell that will feature later in the month.
So go... check out the site. Even if you're not trying for the 50 hours this month there'll be a lot of fun stuff happening.

Ah, I almost forgot about NaNoEdMo. Not sure if I'll do it this year, but I'll definitely go poke around the site.
Good luck with your editing month!
