I know that talk of Script Frenzy may seem a bit late, but really I'm early. I finished reading Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella the other day and couldn't stop thinking about it as a movie.

As we all well know, books and movies are two completely different mediums. This is why the movie version of a book is never usually good enough, especially when the book is told in first person or close third. In a movie you can never be inside a characters head for long before the voice over becomes an irritation.

Remember Me? is the first book that I've read where I thought that it wouldn't lose any of the story as a movie. I even thought of writing a script adaptation as a fun kind of exercise and that's when Script Frenzy popped into my head. A quick check of The Rules and I discover that adaptations of novels as well as screenplays, stage plays, TV shows, short films, comic book and graphic novel scripts, or "any other type of script your heart desires" are allowed.

I'm now thrilled to have a project that will allow me to participate in Script Frenzy with just enough challenges involved. I'm interested to see what I learn adapting a novel into script form.
