My wonderfully supportive husband kicked my butt today and would not let me procrastinate. I had to sit down and write... or else. He was having none of my wily writerly ways. And now, just as he knew, he has a happy writer wife.
I started in on chapter two and revised two scenes. My poor MC has now realised that she's made a huge mistake and lost all trust in the antagonist. Oooh, first plot point. This now happens in a much better way and I think the impact of the scene is a lot stronger. However, now events are shifting just enough that some scenes might not need to happen. I need to look ahead but just enough to keep going.

Way to go, Mark!!! :-)
Haha... Mark rules! You are lucky to have him.
He doesn't claim to be a "writing widower" does he? Because that's what I get (and it just isn't true!).
