I found Goddess Leonie through Stratejoy last year and fell in love with how authentic and joyful and free spirited she is in everything she does on her blog and videos and courses. She’s bursting with colour and energy and creativity and enthusiasm for everything. It’s exactly how fun, silly and carefree I want to be. I know I have it inside me but along the way to becoming a grown up I lost it a little.

I am a Radiant Goddess and after 21 days I feel lighter (I am lighter!), have more energy and more focus. It’s amaze-balls!!
What I’ve done that is much easier than I ever thought it could be.
- I haven’t eaten chocolate, ice cream, cake or any other sugar filled sweets for 21 days.
- I haven’t drunk anything other than water, herbal tea and fruit smoothies for 21 days.
- I haven’t eaten bread or pasta for 21 days.
- I have eaten meat only 3 times a week.
- I have exercised nine out of the past 15 days. (Okay, this one got a little bit hard on the third day in a row)
Some of the secrets that helped me do it.
- It was the right time for me.
- I made time for me.
- I made time to research vegetarian recipes, shop for those ingredients, try out those recipes and go to the gym.
- I listened to my body for hunger and satisfied signals.
- I listened to my body, not my emotions, for whether food in front of me was really what I wanted.
- I was patient with myself.
- I encouraged and coached myself.
- I ate Nut Truffles and Radiant Donut Holes.
- I meditated.
This was a starting point for my year that’s is going to continue being beautiful and bouncy and radiant. I’m going to keep up at the full Radiant Goddess eCourse pace I’ve been at until Saturday when I get on a plane and fly to New Zealand for a two week visit. That in itself is going to be an interesting exloration of staying true to my radiant body and feeding it the movement and food it desires.

Nut Truffles
1 cup nuts (i.e. almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, cashews)
1/2 cup dates
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup coconut
Blend everything in a food processor until crumbly. Add 2.5 tablespoons of water to make it sticky. Roll into balls and roll balls in coconut. Store in the fridge.
